Will Pac Sun allow me to return a tank with the tag off & product worn?

I recently bought a tank top from Pac Sun before heading for the beach. The size was a one size too small, and I was wondering I could exchange it for a medium? I'm unsure since I already took the tag off & have worn it. I still have the tags & receipt though.
